Mac OS X users take note: Apple has posted a link to an installer package to put the ImageMagick image libraries on your machine. This is nice, since building it from source can be kind of a pain.

Every day users probably don’t care, but ImageMagick provides lots of good tools to programmers who want to handle graphics, like validating uploaded files.

The MovableType weblog software can use ImageMagick to handle uploaded images better too. That might be a reason for you to care.
