John Udell has posted First Look at InfoPath, a discussion of Microsoft’s forthcoming XML editing tools which will be part of Office 11. Just this weekend I was wishing for one of the things it offers — data input forms automatically generated from an XML Schema. It’s the kind of thing everyone knew was coming when XML Schema came in with more sophisticated data types than DTDs. It would have been handy while I was trying to teach myself the Maven project.xml syntax.
