Wired 11.07 has a brief interview with Robert Moog. It doesn’t say a whole lot, but it’s nice.

They also lay to rest the pronunciation question:

If the synthesizer business has a household name, it’s Robert Moog – even if most people don’t know how to pronounce it. In the mid-’60s, Moog (rhymes with rogue ) built the first keyboard controlled synthesizers…
