Officers acted properly when they shot and killed an alleged gang member late Monday night after the suspect shot to death another man in a North Side park, a police review panel determined today.
Police said the incident started as a squabble between two members of the same street gang, and led to both being killed and a passerby being injured at Gale School Park, on the 7600 block of North Ashland Avenue in the Rogers Park neighborhood.
