Why I don't trust Check, Please anymore...

Just like every other media-hungry PBS watcher out there, I took some time to fill out the survey to try to get on the show. Although some of what I put was serious, I tried to make my thing as weird as possible to get noticed, and for the prompt asking my favorite special occasion restaurant I put "Medieval Times." A few weeks ago, I got a call back. The conversation went like this:

Him: So tell me about Medeival Times.

Me: Honestly, I've never been there. I've been to the Renaissance Fair though and I really liked that. So I figured I'd probably go to MT were a special occasion ever to come up.

Him: Um...Hold on a minute. (mumbling in the background) Well, you either go to MT and love it or I don't think we can use you.

Me: Well seeing as how I don't eat meat, I don't know how believable that would be.

Him: OK. Thanks for your time.

Now, either Check Please has got something dirty going on with Medieval Times, or not all of the people on that show are honest. Either way I'm done with it.
