This week Chris and Rob came up to visit. Today’s show was a bit random as somehow I didn’t arrive at the station with as many plans for what to play. I finally got a hold of the Roy Campbell Pyramid Trio album “Ethnic Stew and Brew” and it really is excellent. I also accidentally double-dipped on the Rebel Souls album, playing a second track instead of starting the other CD which I had cued up. No worries, though, because that’s a really nice album also.
Kudos to Chris for stumbling across an album of Bob Dylan music performed by Michael Moore (the reed player, not the film maker)—the version of “Highway 61 Revisited” from that was very good.
