I’m looking forward to seeing the new Jean-Pierre Jeunet film, A Very Long Engagement. I’m a little bit nervous, though, after reading the blurb on Fandango
Fandango:

A woman searches for the gristly truth behind the apparent death of her fianc.

I was reminded of the impending release of this film by an email from Netflix, who noticed that I had given Jeunet’s Amelie a high rating. This is the first time they’ve sent me such an email, but it makes perfect sense. I’m kind of surprised this hasn’t happened sooner. I don’t find this one particularly intrusive, since I really did like Amelie enough that I’d want to know about AVLE (assuming I didn’t already.)
