WNUR Conference of the Birds, 2009-05-26

“Conference of the Birds” is my weekly radio program on WNUR-FM.  It airs on Tuesdays from 5-7:30 am Chicago time (UTC-6). And, of course, when technology cooperates, you can just come here for the archives.

Well, ain’t that a shame. I was pretty into this week’s show, and the archiving failed. At least this week it’s pretty clear that the issue goes back to my recurring issues with Comcast service, where I’ve had off-and-on access for a couple of weeks.  Since the archiver runs at home, that was that. You’ll have to take my word (or listen for more plays in future weeks) that the new Dave Douglas album sounds promising (yes, that’s his take on Otis Redding’s “Mr. Pitiful” that I played today.)
