WNUR Conference of the Birds, 2011-11-15

“Conference of the Birds” is my weekly radio program on WNUR-FM. It airs on Tuesdays from 5-7:30 am Chicago time (UTC-5). And, of course, when technology cooperates, you can just come here for the archives. You can subscribe to the podcast with this URL (click here to subscribe in iTunes). (You can also once again see one jumbo list of my past playlists (back to 9/2008 when WNUR started online playlists), for easier searching.)

Lots of odds and ends this week, but also a healthy dose of music from the finally-delivered-unto-me “Boddie Recording Company: Cleveland, Ohio”, a beautiful 3-disc set from Numero chronicling the output of… well, the title says it all. Here are some write-ups about the project:

I also left on a bonus Orchestre Poly-Rythmo track from the beginning of Stephen’s show (not listed below) just because… why not? It’s Poly-Rythmo!

Enjoy!
